MENTOR SYSTEM

For the effective monitoring of the welfare of the students within the campus, 20 - 30 students will be attached to a faculty member who will be acting as a MENTOR for a peried of 1 year by concerned Head of the Department. The Mentors will guide their wards to grow with academic excellance and excellance in other co and extra curricular activities. The Mentors shall keep the record of wards under their care and will periodically meet them and review the performance in there wards academic activities like attendance, internal assesment tests, assignments, industrial visits, tours, paper presentations, project work, personal, social and health matters.
           
            The Mentors shall report to their parents about their academic performance periodically and also inform disciplinary proceedings against their wards in case of the latter are violation of conduct or misbehavior in the campus.

          They shall keep the record of all the activities of the students in mentor file. The shall counsel the individual students problem and shall interact with their parents when ever they visit the institute.

          The Mentors shall also make arrangements for the overall personality development and career guidance of their wards.
