NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC- AIR WING)

The Polytechnic College is the only self financing polytechnic which is having a NCC unit. Participation in NCC is on Voluntary Basic. Once a student join in NCC, he must continue for a minimum period of 2 years. The institute has an air wing unit. NCC enrolment is made at the beginning of each acadamic year. The cadet can appear for examination after two of three years of service and after attending the camp.

All the NCC cadets can undergo an Annual Training camp, lasting for about 12 days. Selected cadets can attend RDC / IGC / ISC etc., at different centres in india.

  2. Every year – slum – Airport – visit.
  3. Every year – skeet firing camp – conducting.
  4. Every year – range firing comp – conducting.
  5. NCC day celebrating.
  6. Every year – B&C certificate exam conducting.
  7. Republic day camp and vaisanic – camp – conducting.
  8. Every year – Aeromodelling training – conducting 10 to 15 days.
  9. Every year – Inter group competion camp conducting 10 to 15 days.
  10. Every year – combined Annual training camp conducting

AWARNESS PROGRAM TO SOCIETY

Every year 2 or 3 rallies we are conducting TOPICS LIKE,

    1. Anti – Tobaco Rally
    2. AIDS – Awareness Rally
    3. Save Girl Child
    4. Global warming
    5. Anti – plastic rally

AWARNESS PROGRAM                                                      

            Every year Blood donation camp are two times C.S.I conducted.

  2. Drill competition over all prizes – getting in CATC – camp – salem at    20-07-2006
  3. 2nd prize sheet firing – CATC – camp – Suresh Nagarajan/ECE

SPECIAL EVENT

      We are planning to conduct one day seminar on the topic of “The Rule of Air wing” during this Academic year.
